Transforming an Urban Garden

Located on a residential street in Fulham, the brief was to transform this 50sqm rear garden of a terraced 3-storey house into a garden for a family with 3 young boys.

  • Introduce perimeter timber screening for essential privacy.

  • Add semi-contained BBQ area & an enclosed storage area for 4 bicycles.

  • Introduce solely potted plants with predominantly hard landscaping, new finishes & lighting design.

  • Trapezoid shaped garden - squared off to create protected bicycle storage.

  • Sloping lightweight roof of fibre glass for natural sunlight and protection.

  • Wall climbers to bring brick end-wall alive with vegetation & colour.

  • Potted plants & climbers along perimeter to add softness and enhance privacy.
